Here’s a look at some of the maintenance items that Phase-One funding will support. Keep in mind the ‘big-ticket’ item would be the shed where we will operate out of and keep all of our tools and supplies. This is an iconic Northwest skatepark that has so much more potential than it is living up to. Let’s rally together to make this valuable asset the best version of itself.
Parks and Rec has a very limited budget for the skatepark, and I can tell you from personal experience, that the Maintenance Supervisor’s attention is spread very thin over dozens of acres of parks to mow, miles of trail systems to keep clear, and an aging pool that is constantly in need of service. With your support, Hood River Skateboarding and our growing Army of coaches, campers and their families can offer to pitch in.
